I have a home loan with Bank of America. I have already gone through 3 loan modifications with them within the last couple of years with the "Making Home Affordable" program, as they would raise the mortgage after reducing it for a few months and I would have to go through the program again. I was required to miss payments to show a need each time to to modify the loan. In late November they requested those payments be made up and put them back into the loan amount, indicating I was behind on my payments. I informed them that those payments were supposed to be put at the end of the loan and was told, "This is the end of your loan." Since then I have been paying more than the monthly minimum each time. They told me that Making Home Affordable was a temporary reprieve for home owners and those payments need to be made up now. I am afraid of losing my home. Please contact me!

I am an independent IT consultant on (1099) status.

I can put 10 - 20 % down on a 400 k home and have a 750 + credit score.

Would I be able to qualify, OR do I need to have a full-time job in order to qualify for the loan?

Thanks

My loan originated in 2005 and I have paid MIP for 12 years now. My home value, per taxes, is way more than my original loan amount and I owe about 79% of the original loan value.

How much longer do I have to pay the MIP?

My wife and I are looking forward to buy our first house. Each of us have 2 credit cards. Our credit scores are range from 630 to 660. We know that we have our wait for 2 years from the discharge date to qualify for mortgage. My question so that, can start looking now since it's only 4 months away or we have to wait for actual date which is 3/31/2017

I have applied for a mortgage on a single family home, where the down-payment is 60% of the purchase amount. Will I still qualify for the FHA loan if the appraisal value is less than the purchase price but greater than the amount of the loan, I.e., 40% of the purchase price? Does the appraisal need to be equal or greater than the purchase price?

FHA Owner Occupancy Requirements

I am looking to purchase a multi-unit building on an FHA primary mortgage. The first property I am considering is a triplex with 2 units vacant, but move-in ready, and one unit that needs a small amount of refurb. I want to rent the vacant units right away (for cash-flow purposes). My question is, how long do I have to complete the refurb and move in?

The second property I am considering is another triplex, but is fully occupied. Could I purchase this building on an FHA and wait until a unit became vacant to move in myself; or would I have to evict one tenant? How long would I have to complete those actions?

Thank you for your help and guidance,

Don

My loan is less than 3 years old and I have never been late on a payment(most of the time I pay two weeks in advance). My credit score is good. It will only save me $100 a month.
If the rates have changed why not give mortgage owners the break without the extra cost?
