Can I apply for an FHA streamline loan to lower my interest rate and add my brother to the deed? I do not live in the house but he does. I know the streamline refinance is only if it is your principle residence, but if I am allowed to refinance and add him it will be considered his principle residence.

Got a deed of release and reconveyance but not sure which date is the correct date to be used. The date the trustee signed, the date the trustor signed or the effective date shown on the deed of trust. Thanks

We filed bankruptcy chapter 7 in March of 2013. Out property was exempt so we are able to stay in the home as long we making monthly payments. Now we are trying to apply for new mortgage loan so we can buy new house and lander we working with sames to be confused how we stayed in the house after bankruptcy and we don't have forclousure on our record.

I was trying to explain them that property was exempt and if I want to move out of house I just need to return the keys to the bank and sign deed over.

They will pre appove us for loan just if mortgage company give them in the writing that if we turn keys and sign deed over to them they will not treat that as forclousure.

I don't know what to do. Any advice is highly appreciated.
