My home value has risen enough within the last year to where what I owe is 80% of the current value of the home according to the county appraisal. I am still a long way off from 80% of the original purchase value. Is it possible to remove the MIP based on the current value of the home?

I obtained an FHA loan from the Federal Housing Administration in 2010 and recently inherited some money from my dad’s estate. It's enough to pay off my mortgage loan and I would like to know what the guidelines are pertaining to any prepayment penalties.

In doing my research comparing a VA loan versus a conventional loan, it appears that if you put 20% down on a conventional loan there is no escrow account required. I would be able to pay my own taxes and insurance directly each year. What is allowable under the VA home loan program?

I used by VA home loan eligibility on a home purchase back in the 80’s. I paid as agreed and the house was paid off years ago. I want to purchase another home utilizing my VA eligibility again and wanted to know how to do this.
